Trim and Clean Options in Power Query

To clear data or delete unwanted spaces you can use TRIM and CLEAN options in power query. Steps are simple:

• Right-click on a column or select all the columns if you have multiple columns.
• Go to Transform Tab ➜ Text Column ➜ Format.
  1. TRIM: To remove trailing and leading whitespaces from a cell.
  2. CLEAN: To remove non-printable characters from a cell.
